which is specific for him or her. Make sure you read through and follow
all the make up policies for this course.
The Biological Sciences website for the lab syllabus, lab schedule, BS110 help room hours and make up policy is http://www.biosci.msu.edu/courses.htm, you will also find a generic lab syllabus, the lab schedule, the BS110 help room hours for all TAs, the make up policy and the directory. Assignments The laboratory portion of BS110 is 30% (180 points) of the total possible points (600). The 180 points will be due during your specific lab time and valued, as follows:
The late work penalty applies every time you turn in homework. This penalty occurs on the day the assignment is due. The penalty for late work is a 20% deduction from the assignment. Work is considered late if your lab instructor does not receive the work in the first 15 minutes of the lab (e.g, 15 minutes late to end of lab). If the work is turned into your lab instructor after the lab is completed without verification, the assignment will be worth 0 points. Work that is turned in due to make up reasons will be collected at the Òmake upÓ time or the assignment will be worth 0 points. Your lab instructor will explain the late policy within the first week of lab. Make ups If you miss a lab, you must contact Thomas Harpstead at 353 -
